Helping Every Child
Read with Confidence

Hi, I'm Kate - a teacher on a mission to empower every child with the skills they need to read fluently. 

I want to help build a future where all children are understood, supported, and given the chance to love reading - whatever their starting point.

Why I began

Through my work in schools and one-to-one tutoring, I learnt about an evidence-based teaching method rooted in the power of imagery.

 

I saw children who’d been left behind by mainstream instruction begin to make significant, long-lasting progress. ​But as I looked for accessible resources to share with parents, I ran into a problem: there were none.

 

Having seen how impactful this method is, I knew that I had to do something to ensure every child could experience the benefits.​ So I started creating a series of workbooks guiding children to achieve reading fluency. ​

Keep the activities engaging and enjoyable for both the child and the helper by building in games and movement breaks.

Consider how scary reading can be for struggling readers and structure the activities to boost a child's confidence. 

Empower the Helpers

Empower parents and teachers with the skills to best support the neurodivergent children in their care.
