What will my child learn?

I don't know much about phonics - can I still use these books?
Absolutely. Each activity has clear instructions and there's a pronunciation guide at the back of the workbook. Plus, you'll have access to audio guides to understand more about key terms.

We bought this book as my daughter didn’t score well on the Year 1 phonics check and we want to do some work with her at home to help her do better next time. Thankfully, we’ve already seen that using the workbook has made a real difference. She knows her single-letter sounds better and is able to break words down into their sounds better, too.
She doesn't cry about doing the work and actually likes putting the sticker on at the end of the lesson. Think we will be ready for the next book soon.
